Our story
A Culinary Affair takes care of your event from start to finish. Having accumulated many years of experience, we can either support you in your planning or completely take over your event. We always begin with a conversation about your ideas and wishes: what is your idea of the perfect event?
Based on those wishes we advise you and come up with a number of ideas. If you like them, we draw up a proposal with a matching quotation. We understand that things may change along the way, so in the run-up to the event there is always room for adjustments.
From intimate dinners to events for hundreds of guests, we work at venues across Amsterdam and beyond, including the Botanische Tuinen Zuidas, Kitchen55, Porsche Centrum Amsterdam and Club Ace.
Meet Federico
What started with a passion for food grew into A Culinary Affair. Founder and chef Federico combines culinary craftsmanship with a warm, personal way of working.
That personal approach shows in every detail, from the first conversation to the final plate that leaves the kitchen. We work with a tight-knit team and a select group of partners, such as floral atelier AP Bloem and Héman Horeca Verhuur, to make every event come together.
Sustainability
We believe that sustainable thinking is one of the most important aspects of our work: in the relationship with our clients, our team, and in the way we organise our events.
From our kitchen and waste management to the choice of rental materials and styling, we make conscious choices throughout. We aim to meet today's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
